Analysis
Saved by the bell was a half hour show that was based on a bunch of kids in high school that were all friends that hung out together and went to a school named bayside. In this group of friends there was basically every type of person. First I will start of with Zack Morris, Zack was your typical blonde hair blue eyed guy who would always get the girls. Zack did not play any sports and would never really study for school but whether is was cheating or having someone help him zack was always lookin for ways to pass high school the easiest way. Next we will move to AC slaiter who was the best friend of Zack, AC was the athlete in the group. He was the captain of the wresteling team and of the football team and also loved to play the drums. The third and final guy in the group was Screech Powers ,Screech was the computer nerd that was always the one trying to help out zack and AC so that they were able to pass the classes. But screech did not have all the luck that AC and Zack had with the girls although he wanted to. Screech had a crush on a girl in the group named Lisa, lisa was a african american girl who was all about fashion and what was 'hip" and the cool thing to wear. Another girl in the show was Jessie, jessie was the girl friend of AC and was a tall girl with long brown hair. Jessie was very into her academics and was always concerned about student council and where she was going to go to college. And the final girl in the group was Kelly, kelly was zacks girlfriend and was a chearleader. So here we have this group of three girls and three guys and two sets of them are couples and one set is single. Screech and lisa were both single although Screech was madly inlove with Lisa, lisa wanted nothing to do with a computer geek that was not athletic like AC or the looks of Zack. The popular place for this group to hang out was a reasturant called THE MAX. So everyday after school the group would meet and talk about thier days and what was going on in school and what was to look forward too. There was always drama at the max regarding relationships such. This show is very realistic to what it was like in high school for alot of people, they went to dances, celebrated promand homecoming. People went to the football games, attended social gatherings, and stuck up for one another. often times zack and Ac would get into it with eachother and they would use screech as the middle man if it was to get the girl or if it was to keep a secret from one another. Screech is just that best friend to everyone.
Another important person in this show was the principal MR. belding. Belding was a very nice principal that had a very close relationship with the students, especially this group of friends. Zack was the one who would always get into trouble and eithe rthe teacher would send him down to Mr. Beldings office or, Mr. Belding would yell over the loudspeaker for Zack to report to the office. So Zack and Mr. Belding had that extra close relationship becasue of the amount of times zack had to visit him. After the high school years are over it moves in a a season of the college years. The college years are a little different in that there is more people in the group of friedns now which you can probably guess increases the amount of Drama that would take place.
ANALYSIS
This show was very easy for high school kids to relate too becasue when we go to school we see all different kinds of guys and girls walking tin the halways. This show to me was all about gettgin the girls for the guys, and for the girls it was all about the future, and what guy they liked and how they could have fun. I think the easiest part to relate to for most kids was the point of trying to be rebelious in high school. The kids in the show would always sneek threw the windows of one anothers houses and be there when they were not supposed too. there was also alot of mischif happening everyday and it would always center around zack which i found happend to be the biggest pattern.
